Once you've installed the app, please open it and create your account. To prioritize authenticity and accountability in our community, we've implemented a strong security measure called Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for our Kernels feature. 2FA provides an additional layer of protection by verifying your identity using two different methods.

Our implementation of 2FA ensures a genuine and trustworthy environment within the app. It safeguards your personal information and guarantees that Kernels has legitimate users who carry out all interactions.

Using the "+" button

You can start saving ideas by tapping the "+" button. You can save text, links, and pictures in a variety of categories, such as "Projects," "Goals," and "Inspiration."

Adding tags to organize

You can also add tags to your ideas to help you organize them. For example, you could tag an idea with "productivity" if it's related to getting things done, or you could tag it with "creativity" if it's related to coming up with new ideas.

Using the navigation

Once you've saved an idea, you can view it by tapping the "My Notes" tab. You can also edit or delete ideas from this tab.

Here are some additional tips for using the KernelsApp:

  • Tags are the best way to keep notes about various topics organized in Kernels. Thereโ€™s no limit to how many unique tags you can have in Kernels โ€“ create as many as you like.

You do not need tags to use Kernels. By default, Kernels will store your information chronologically from newest to oldest in the My Notes feed. But tags can help create that structure, allowing you to find previously saved data quickly.

If you use tags, take a few minutes to determine what you want Kernels to save. Tags are structured in a parent/child structure. But you do not need to add child tags. You can create a parent tag only.

    Examples:

    Single Layer

    Tag: Cookie Recipes

    Tag: Indian Recipes

    Dual-Layer

    Parent Tag: Recipes

    Child Tag: Cookies

    Child Tag: Indian
